Camp Leader - Ages 16+
Camp Leaders perform a variety of tasks in a summer camp setting including recreation activities, arts and crafts, sports, games, riflery, archery, kayaking, talent shows, skits and transition times. They will utilize the Camp Whitley curriculum and values to shape campers’ overall experience. This is a paid position that includes lodging and meals.
Counselor in training - Ages 15+
We are recruiting counselors in training to shadow our counselors, prepare for future employment, and to enjoy life at Camp Whitley!
This is an unpaid position, but lodging and meals are included. You will assist campers with camp events, such as swimming, boating, archery, and riflery.

Hi, I’m Justene and I’m very excited for this new chapter of being Camp Whitley's director! Here’s a few facts to get to know me a little bit better. Summer 2026 will be my 7th year working at Camp Whitley (and counting of course). I also was lucky enough to attend camp for many years as a kid, so I know first hand how special it is to many in our ever growing community. Outside of camp, I work as a school photographer, which means I get to see many of our campers there too—something I think is pretty cool. I’m someone that others can turn to for laughter, comfort, or a listening ear. Lastly I’m happiest enjoying simple things like spending time outside, music always on, playing games and getting crafty. So happy to return for another summer of making memories that truly last a lifetime!
